Sounds like a cop-out. I've found issues, they just haven't been the ones we've discussed...
1) June - VIR: Alternator ground ring terminal snapped off. At-track fix is the current configuration: simply replacing the ring. Future plan is to get more flexible wire and use the better ring terminal I bought.
2) October - VIR: Developed or caused trans fluid leak to worsen. Fluid covered the underside of the car, and sloshed onto the exhaust in T1/T2, causing smoke. I suspect the drain plug is the problem, since I saw it backed itself out, and this is either because it's messed up or I forgot to apply sealant to the threads when changing the fluid before the event.
Despite being loud and having stock brakes with mediocre pads, the car performs amazingly. Future events will be a progression in finding problems, upgrading parts, or both.
