The engine work is completely done. I need to do some stuff with the transmission, and then I should be able to put everything back together. I’m way behind “schedule,” but things are going pretty well.

Ironically enough, I haven’t been taking many pictures at all. I’ve been doing most of my work at night, and it would be too much to fully document here anyhow. I will say there is some great information here on the forums and I’ll gladly share what I’ve learned. You guys feel free to hit me up.
OK here’s a quick synopsis:
New Parts
- Water Pump
- Rear Water Lines
- Thermostat
- Belts
- Front Main Seal
- Rear Main Seal
- JWT Stage 4 Clutch
Parts transferred from the old engine:
- Valve Cover and Gaskets
- Flywheel (resurfaced)
- Timing Chain Tensioner
- Injectors (new o-rings)
- Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Water Sensors
- Knock Sensor
- AAC
- IACV
- Throttle Position Sensor (required some serious surgery)
- Stock Oil Sensor
- Autometer Oil Sensor
- Turbo Oil Feed Line
- Exhaust Manifold Studs and Metal Gasket
- Alternator
- Power Steering Pump
- Distributor
- Spark Plugs and Wires
- Misc Brackets (axle carrier, motor mounts, etc)
- Misc Vacuum Lines
I also dropped the oil pans and drilled the block for the oil return. That seems like everything, but I probably left something out.
Anyhow, here are some pics. The valve cover is just sitting on there in these pictures (I’m keeping the old cover on it until the swap is done).
