you would be able to use the 6 speed, sfwd rules say that adapter plates are not permitted, you don't have to use an adapter plate for the specv trans, you do however have to use a different bellhousing that you can get from sr20turbofreak or gregv for less than 400, that bellhousing will bolt right to the sr block and the gear stack from the 6 speed, will bolt to the bellhousing. just like your boy in utah w/ a srt4, srt4's never were offered from the factory w/ an auto trans, but there is an auto trans from an older 2.4l chrysler motor that bolts right to it. no adapter plate.

i'm using a peterson dry sump system, turbo will drain back to one of the scavenge inlets on the pump. i'll have pics up soon, i just don't like to post one or two pics, i'll have a ton in a little bit, should be getting the head back this weekend.
