Ive always wondered if the late model maxima auto could be tricked up, and modded to fit a sr20. They are designed to handle a fair bit of torque in a pretty big heavy car, so if it can get the line pressures bumped and some aftermarket clutch's, i rekon there is a possibility there.

Mates of mine have a 10 sec pulsar, they were going to bolt a p10 auto trans in it to see if it could even get off the line, just to see what broke. I kinda figured i might roll over the 60ft line before turning molten. They last had 365 fwkw. The car has been parked for the last 2 years ***, waiting on a sponsor.
