Yah, but if you just have a gauge, the ECU can't make use of that data. You lose a lot of functionality when you break the WB from the ECU like that. Or can the AEM ECU not make use of the WB data? Meaning... Can it not adjust the air/fuel ratio on the fly to give the desired air/fuel ratio based on what is sees from the wideband? Can it not log wideband data along with everything else to give you quick tuning sessions, and a record of your wideband readings?
There's a lot more to having WB data in the ECU than just seeing instantaneous data.
