SentraDude SE-R Lightweight Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Arizona Trader Rating: 6 (100%)	Engine Noise @ 3K RPM ???? So i noticed that i have a noise around 3K, i can tell its comming from cyl #2... You can hear it at idle but its faint or around 3K and you can hear it under load (if i give it some gas). Not a deep noise, higher pitch noise and seems to be coming from the top end. Valve or rod, or......? I know there is no valve adjustment but a bad shim would make that noise? Its definatley upper and it is not the chain. Last edited by SentraDude : 02-23-2008 at 06:12 PM.
