- That's a good thing to use the Search feature for.
- Usually, yes.
- Practically none, except that the JDM engine has fewer emissions gear parts, like no EGR (required in some states, noted above).
- Yes and yes. Or any other header, for that matter (OBX, Pacesetter, Stillen, et cetera). I think the JDM intake with a header would be ideal for simplicity's sake.
- No less reliable than a USDM engine, except that most importers prefer to sell 30k-40k mile (or fewer) engines, so in your case, you'd easily lose 60-70k miles of wear.
On the other hand, you also have a low-port engine, whereas most JDM engines are high-port, so it's not 100% plug'n'play for you. Try looking for the JDM/200SX thread, as this applies more directly to you ('94 was the first year of the low-port engine, by the way).
