Classicaddict can nearly as aggressive, short-tempered, impatient and nasty as myself. It's one of the reasons I like him so much.

You took his "general statement" out of his signature and made it personal. Note that while he is being rather emphatic towards ALL new members, he did say "please."

Here is what he told you directly:

A bit abrupt perhaps, but 100% on point and accurate none-the-less.

I took the time to look at your "thread starting" history. Which threads you have actually started, and on what topics. You are not a glaring "repeat offender", however you certainly could have found your answers in this thread quite easily via the Search button.

Let me help you out further, the thread below is a tutorial on How to Search. Searching correctly yeilds fast results and quick answers. Searching blindly and not knowing the skill-set involved, yeilds a gazzillion threads or no threads at all. In either of those latter cases, new folks just get frustrated as hell.

That thread is chock-full of tips on correct search methodology. It will help you out immeasurably, far beyond any responses to any thread. It will unlock the door to the vast library of information already posted.

Do not take all "gruff" responses to heart, keep your sense of humor intact, try to see the "opposite viewpoint", and of course, learn how to search correctly. Personally, I am only good at that last bit of advice, but the others are good advice none-the-less.

Welcome to the forum!
