Thanks for that link DMP316. I'll have to figure out exactly what kind of power my motor has once I tear it apart. I just got the motor out earlier tonight. Planning on ripping into it today. I looked at my rockers and I have roller rockers. From what I pick up in that thread is that if I have the dished pistons then technically I have a compression ration of 10.1. Please correct me if I'm wrong, keep in mind I read these things and usually post when I'm about to go to bed.
But if it is 10.1 then how much better do you get then that from the factory?? Remember, this is a 2001 SR20DE, from what I know, one of the last years Nissan brought it to the states.
Although I am a Nissan enthusiast I never got into the SR20 info, mainly RB info because of owning two 240sx'. Also, I'm not a huge fan of FWD but if this winter is anything like last winter, then I will consider this car a godsend regardless of HP. That is my main use of this car, so high HP is not a huge deal but like any car guy it is something I hope to have. My main priority is cost and just gettin' this car rollin'.
Thanks for any inputs, they are greatly appreciated.
