1) Performance expectations?

2) Bolt-ons will only get you so far. Plenty quick and fun, but not seriously fast.

3) Swap it out? Are you talking SR20VE or a turbo mill?

4) Do you realize that you can bolt-on a turbo and you have tons of choices on how to go about doing so?

5) Use for the vehicle? Daily driver? Track slut? 1/4 mile terror? Road racing (yes on a track)? Auto-cross?

6) Your knowledge level? Experience? Access to tools, a lift, and/or knowledgable help?

7) Is down-time OK? Do you have access to another vehicle?

8) More reliable? A properly done SR20VE swap can be just as reliable as an SR20DE. Hell, a properly done SR20DE-T can be dead nuts reliable, if you don't go hog-wild crazy on your power expectations, keep things simple, and use quality parts (many of which can be Nissan OEM).

You should also take a long hard look at the Technical Library. There is an entire Turbo Section and VVL section. Read them both, twice.

You can also find plenty of information, with a simple search, on what type of power is attainable/expected with a bolted-on SR20DE, a VE, or a DE-T.

Please do more reSEARCH and then come back with more concrete details, and a specific questions.

Welcome to the forum!
