i've recently switched from a jwt pop/kn combo on a cai over to aem dryflow on a wai. i haven't noticed any sotp power difference at all. comparing the 2 media types....i would NOT feel good about running the aem as a cai filter because of the exposure to water. i think an oiled cotton media (k&n) would hold up better. i have no scientific proof whatsoever, just an observation. but as far as a wai filter, from what i've read on bitog, the aem media is superior in filtering smaller particles, with a tiny bit more restriction. whether that little restriction is enough to cause a power loss on a 2 liter motor remains unanswered afaik. i'll have to wait until October before i'm back @ the dyno. personally, it makes me feel better thinking my motor is getting cleaner air in, than the max amount of possibly dirtier air. ymmv
