To sum it up, the car is running kind of hot... I'm seeing 240F water temps and 260F oil temps on an 85F day. I'm planning to add an oil cooler which I'm getting my list of parts to order together right now. I'm also going to do some additional ducting or cutouts on the front of the car to get more air through to the radiator.
Sounds like fun! I noticed a HUGE difference in simple radiator ducting Monty! Last year I did a track day and it was about 80 degrees with decent humidity and the temps. would get to 203ish after about 15 minutes and I would have to back off. I bent up some radiator ducting that forced air through the rad. by blocking off the top and sides, basically any air that enters MUST go through the radiator. This year, same track high 70 degree day never got above 183! I have some pics. of the simple pieces on my site.
