Couple thoughts.

1) You need to take care of the heater hoses that run behind the head before you put the engine in the car. You will need to buy adapter hoses from www.heavythrottle.com or adapt existing to work.
2


The two wire plug above the 4 wire plug in that picture is for the Knock Sensor. You can switch the plug with soldering pretty easily. Make sure you cut the plug off the KA harness very close to the plug so you have plenty of room to soldier a the SR plug on to it. Or swap the ka knock sensor onto the sr.

It looks simple, my car was a 1990 ka24e had to get wiring harness, just found out the day i joined about this thread.
its one of just a couple of reasons i joined.

Is this pretty close to the same instruction as the SR20 DET??? except innercooler piping and etc..

The wiring is done differently. with the SR20DE swap you can retain the KA wiring harness mostly... with the DET you need to use the DET harness.

if one was doing a sr20de swap into a 240sx could they use the sr20de harness and do the dash wiring and be all set
