DP bolted up with gasket:
Has anyone found this gasket locally? As in not through Phase2, Enjuku, etc.? I looked a half a dozen places for one including muffler shops and NAPA, and no one had anything.
Making my own exhaust hanger bracket out of 1/4" flat stock:
I would have preferred thinner material or aluminum, but this was the widest thing my dad had laying around. In case you're curious, I was unable to use OE parts because my trans mount is essentially a block of urethane without a suitable way to latch onto. A friend recommended I drill through the trans crossmember, but I wasn't comfortable with that. I suppose it wouldn't have seriously affected the structural integrity, but I'd prefer to put time into a bracket instead of altering crossmember.
OE front brake line compared to the Russell one:
Line installed:
In retropsect, installing it starting at the caliper might have been easier.
Much props for all the work you're putting into this, and the time you're taking to document it man.

Thanks. I worked on the car yesterday, and will do some more work tomorrow. Pix will follow shortly thereafter.

Thanks. I bought it from a friend (Ted Teten, as mentioned before the first pic) who's "RedSVTFlareside" on 240SX Forums. I'm pretty sure he's registered here as well. He charges about $100 less than Enjuku.
Yes, the shaft is aluminum.

Good shot of the SMIC bracket, and after blocking the hole off:
I used sheet aluminum my dad had laying around, and cut the shape. I used:
to seal between the aluminum and chassis, and riveted it in place. I probably didn’t need to use 8 rivets, but the somewhat irregular surface made it necessary to do so.
Whiteline bar endlinks attached:
From installing one on a friend’s S14, I thought it might be easier to install this way.
Finished installation:
Good shot of the TC rods installed and Whiteline endlinks:
still looking good man... i love looking at the pictures and seeing all the crazy colors of new performance parts haha
would it be possible for me to buy one of those dp/exhaust hanger brackets off of you?

If you're serious, we can chat about it on AIM. My initial thought is $60, then make another for myself. You would need the OE rubber piece though. But I didn't time myself on it, and got the materials for free.

The driveshafts are $365 + $30 shipping from Ted Teten, a friend of mine in Stillwater, OK. I can get you in touch with him if you PM an email address / phone number / whatever.

I have some pictures, yes, but I can't guarantee they'll impart much information. Gutting the wiring is a complicated process, and one I had to call in help for. Send me a PM or find me on AIM sometime to chat about it.

Don't do the final cost until you drive it for a good two months! Bum City...
Good Luck!!!
I've already tracked most of it, although I'm about 6 months behind and need to update my spreadsheet. I'm pretty sure it's close to $13k though.

Dont take this the wrong way...Why didn't you paint the calipers black or something? Every other tiny part on that car is painted but the calipers...slacker

Ha, because their lifespan on the car will heopfully be relatively short. I will however get the Z32TT aluminum ones powdercoated before I rebuild them.

I would update you, but there's nothing to update on. Other than the fact that I think I finally have a viable SMIC, which is key to finishing up the engine bay. I am working on the car next weekend, and hope to have lots of good chit by then.
