Should have something up soon. I swapped out CAS's yesterday (thanks Casey!) to see if thats' the problem. If not, looks like I'll be spending the $300-ish I would've spent on a new CAS changing to an aftermarlet FPR and lines.
this is the most impressive thing i think i have ever seen! i must admit when i saw how you treated the engine bay (body work/paint) i thought the rest of the car was going that route too. but still holy crap! also i noticed you live in charolette, im in morresville for nissan training at the uti nascar school, we should meet up and let me check out your car

Thanks. Well, I didn't have the time to do it all like I did the engine bay, especially since the rattlecan job might not look all that great on the exterior. The interior gave way to getting it running, and will will be my focus once I figure out the AFR issue.
Cool, I'm up in Mooresville every now and again, and will actually be up the day after Crimmus to buy a Simpson helmet for the upcoming HPDE season.

Yeah it can take awhile, but well worth it IMO (aside from Casey's ramblings! )
Thanks, he was up to 13 pounds at his 2-month checkup, and 24". Doing well, no colic to speak of, and generally a happy little man.

i want my CAS back.....after you dyno test it all today....
no one underestimate the generosity of the goofus when a disabled and metnaly challenged man (Andy) is in trouble....i lent him my CAS to find out if his running issue was from a faulty CAS...

Gaysey you are such a child. Thanks for letting me borrow the CAS though, you sack 'o poo.
It wasn't always that way, only after I had it cleaned when the headwork was done. When I got the motor from Venus, oil was baked onto the whole valvetrain and underside of the valve cover. The motor was obviously abused before it arrived at the shop.
I worked on the car a little bit yesterday after cleaning off my workbench. I pulled the VC and reinstalled the CAS. I was buttoning everything up when I realized I hadn't set the engine to TDC before stabbing the CAS. So I took everything apart and did it all over again, wasting a solid half hour.
My plan is to hook everything back up to see how it idles. I want to test voltages at the CTS and pinch the air hose from the IACV to see if it does anything. After that, I'm going to pull the current IACV and replace it with the one I bought and haven't yet cleaned. [As a funny side note, I found a great procedure on FreshAlloy on how to clean the IACV, and it referenced Castrol Super Clean degreaser. Lots of other people have mentioned it when talking about cleaning it, so I figured it's the stuff to get. In looking at auto parts stores, Target, Sears, etc., I couldn't find any "Castrol" degreaser. I finally found it at a NAPA store, but it had the word "Castrol" printed nowhere on it. I think it's the right stuff, but I've put entirely too much effort into it already and need to get on with the cleaning.]
I will clean the bish pretty soon, after somewhat disassembling it to keep from damaging the solenoid and other thingy (I'll include pictures to illustrate my point). I have a new gasket from P2M from a long time ago, including the one that goes between the two intake manifold halves. In case you're curious, the procedure I found says it's a lot easier to remove the t
