It will get 7-9mpg, depending on head or tail wind its as aerodynamic as a building, pulling a empty trailer with 2 cars in it, 80,000lbs it will average 5.5mpg. But you are talking a 1000+hp 15.8 liter beast ( its not stock). Im bringing 4 cars to the vegas convention with it!
Lol...

My downsized truck does just fine (no mAd sAg, y0! like Andy's) and gets 14-16mpg towing on cheaper fuel, so KMA...
can you tell me more and show me more pics of your exhuast?
there are way too many pages to try and seive through for the info .....i started a couple of times....lol
Exhaust was done by a local guy for ~$400. The welds are excellent, mounting is solid, and he used 304SS so I never have to worry about rust. Only issue is that it's currently too loud even for an in-car communicator, which makes HPDE's difficult as you would imagine. My instructor and I worked out some hand signals that were effective for the sessions, but still left something to be desired. I plan to cut in this muffler eventually, but have more pressing things to spend the money on before that happens.
Following are all the pictures of it I have online. If you want more I can upload them and post, but don't expect it to be anytime soon. 1234567

Long-term towing plans do not include the Pathfinder. My dad has an early-90's F350 that would make an excellent tow vehicle if it had some work done to it. I am trying to avoid sinking any money into a dedicated towbeast though since I don't yet tow that often.
Pathfinder will do for now. With the Prodigy brake controller, braking is easy. Car positioning on the trailer will take care of tongue weight. The only problem is not enough torque to comfortably tow in hilly areas, which is alleviated by burying my foot in the gas. And I estimated 16mpg towing to VIR, which is pretty damned good except that it requires premium.
Meh, last I heard that song was watching Smoky and the Bandit when I was 7 or some sh*t.
same here

Never noticed the strut towers?
Nah its my dads car, i never even looked at it much. But now that u mentioned it does have struts out back, so yeah. sh*t But it tows 5k lbs so its enough. All the older Pathfinders had a frame so i figured this one did too.
So why did you change the iacv? Is it from another rwd sr also?
For two reasons:
1) Mine had a plastic idle adjustment screw that was fuxored because it was too tight to turn and galled.
2) My idle was high and I wanted a clean IACV on there to eliminate that as a potential problem. I bought another one, cleaned it thoroughly with some degreaser, and installed with a new gasket. Not sure if this did the trick since I also replaced the CTS (coolant temp sender) to the ECU.
The site co-owner updated the format to a blog-style that makes it much easier for me to post now, which means that I should have more content on the site now. Check it out and lemme know what you think.
Here are a few small updates...
Installed the GReddy oil temp sender:
Now I have to pull the dash and get everything hooked up there.
A gauge panel I'm making from some scrap lexan:
Sending an oil sample out for testing:
The drain plug is magnetic and picked up some fine debris. I wasn't sure what to do with it, so I tried my best to scrape some off in the oil sample container to see what it is.
Circuit Sports oil block I bought:
Doing some test-fitting in an attempt to figure out how I want to mount it:
As mentioned in the Inline Oil Cooler thread, I bought a Canton/Mecca filter housing. I'll post some pictures of it later.
Can I ask what the switch between your two gauges is for...
Oh schnit son, thass my NAWSSSS switch.
It's a defrost switch. I have the heating system and blower motor set up so flipping this switch causes full-blast hot air through the defrost vents. Good for East Coast fogging and an extra bit of heat dissipation should I need it, thus the placement beside the water temp gauge.

Had new glass installed today so I can pass HPDE tech. Several small cracks became much longer from the temp delta from morning to afternoon @ VIR, and on-track use probably didn't help.
