I linked this picture from the SoCal 240SX Club webpage, and all credit goes to them.

I actually removed every single HICAS component from my 92 HB SE as part of my preparation for competing in SRX.

So they had it on the Hatch as well? Just to add a little more. From my understanding this is a similiar setup to what the Skylines use.

rumor has it its a crappy system. more often than not people remove it with an eliminator.

The picture above seems to indicate that it was only the FB...

I don't think it's nearly as effective as the Super HICAS on the Skyline, but I haven't driven either, actually, as my car hasn't run since I bought it. :/

Supposedly not. I haven't had personal experience with it, but most people describe the effect as unsettling and unpredictable.

And while most people using the Tomei locking kit, or another variant, I decided to remove it completely in my obsessive quest to save weight and reduce complexity. Because ultimately, both are bad for a track car.
