VLSD Swap into 89 240

I think I understand what I need but I wanted to make sure by putting it out there to everyone.

If I pickup a JDM VLSD assembly with the 5 bolt outputs as long as I get the axles with it I will be fine to bolt it up correct?

Also what should the final be on 89 240? 4.08 or 4.40?

Thanks for any help.

if your putting it on an open diff car make sure that the lsd is from a non-abs car. if its from an abs 180sx you will need a abs driveshaft as well.
