Uh...... you can build it in your garage? I know someone priced out a totally built and stroked JUN sr motor.... somewhere over $20k if I remember correctly. And that's just for the motor.... the 240sx websites have a lot of info I'm sure..... apparently, the KA vs. SR question has been beat to death a thousand times over over there.

As for the car.... well, a few grand on the front brakes, some more on the rears, a few grand on wheels and tires( for one set, you'll probably want a few sets), $10k+ on a full blown race suspension, start replacing the glass with lexan or something, some carbon fiber body panels, get a good aerodyanmics package(including front splitters, rear diffusers, underbody, all that good stuff), a 6 speed sequential shifter would be a nice addition, rollcage, seat, fire surpression system, fuel cell, racing harness... etc. etc. I'd say it be a good idea to have at least a $100k laying around for a full blown sr20det powered race car. Check out JUN's website, they have totally built and tricked out track ready silvia. Oh yeah, they custom did the suspension to create a wider track... might want to tack on another $10k+ for that.

Why get a SR when you can do a RB? Just a thought since you have this bottomless pocket.
