Sr20DE into S14 ANYONE???

I am currently been OWNED by what i think its the wiring....

just wanted to kknow if there anyone here that has done a swap into a S14???

This is my progress so far:

TPS:

IACV WIRING:

Sr20de
9:1 Wiseco Pistons
Pauter Rods
COMETIC Headgasket
ARP Head Bolts
Z32 MAF
JWT 95 KA-T ECU (Z32 MAF and 75lbs injectors program)
97 S14 KA harness KA throttle body and tps

Now the deal is that the car cranks and runs.....
But the idle is very very rough. I have a AEM wideband and its running very lean around 16.0 or so. I also have an SAFC which im still trying to work out the settinsg for because they dont seem to be right. It should be:
HOTWIRE 2 in 2 out or 5in 5out or 6in 6 out the car doesnt want to run on anythign but 2in 6 out. As if the ECU wasnt programmed for the Z32 MAF.

I bought the ECU from a buddy of mine that had it on hs KAT an deverythig worked well for him. I might be having trouble with the wiring for the TPS and IACV.
Anyone?

I know im been very bague on a lot fo minor details, but if there is anyone that has done this swap on an s14 that can share some info it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

PauL

You got alot going on with that car.

Here are some common things I've done in problematic cars I've had to fix.

1. Put in the ECU / Turn Off S-AFC II - Use only what is necessary.
2. Open the IACV Up (Raise the Idle)
3. Make sure you have good fresh gas
4. Un-Plug MAF (Start Up - See if it idles smooth, if so, replace MAF / check wiring)
5. Un-Plug TPS (If smooth, bad/wrong TPS, normal to have high idle)
6. Check Timing (Dist. could be 180'd out. or off a tooth)
7. Double Check EVERYTHING (Fuel lines, injectors, wiring, hoses, vacuum lines, etc.)

I recall the 96+ TPS being different in voltage scaling than the 95 model units. There are other wiring differences between the KA pinouts on 95 and 96+ ECU's.

Im gonna give that a try..
TPS and MAF unplugged see how it runs....
I know i dont have a VAC leak because the boost gague reads 20VAC and responds to throttle movement. The Sr20 doesnt have too many VAC hoses running around anyway, there is only 2 and the one for the Brake booster.

I think it has somethign to do with my TPS. On the SAFC i was getting very wierd readings. At idle with my foot OFF the gas it still read 2.0% as if i was tapping it a bit. What was even more wierd is that it was bouncing around from 2.0% - 0.5%.
Maybe the TPS is messed up.

Can anyone confirm the wiring from the pics? I have traced these 3 wires 1 black 1 white and one Light Green with red stripe from the ECU connector to the TPS plug and they seem to be fine no dead spots there.

i will try to unhook the SAFC and see ho it responds with the MAF and TPS unplugged.

Thanx Nismo_Freak

Any other thoughts anyone?
