it't not your oil pump, because that usually results ina drop in pressure.
usually high oil pressures are caused by restrictions in the oil path somewhere, like a bad rod bearing or a blockage somewhere
there's little oil passages in line with your rod bearings, so if they shift at all, the hols won't line up, therefore causing a spike in pressure. This wouldn't cause the smoke, but it could be forcing oil past your piston rings, OR... more simply, your turbo seals could be leaking, which is common if you don't let your car cool down after each drive. OR your turbo could be cracked... it's really hard to tell which one of these things it could be. so start off with your turbo and elminate the possiblity of that.
