I forgot this thread was here... copy/paste from my members ride writeup.
I completed my 3rd track day in the 240 this last friday... this was also the first one that I've done in the dry with the car. The temps were in the mid 70's with blue skies most the day.
The 240 really really shined yesterday. I was in shock how well balanced the car was in the corners and especially on how good the Potenza RE-01R's stuck in the dry. The funny part about having almost no power is that if I wasn't on the brakes I had my right foot planted on the gas pedal... always! No matter how hot I came into a corner or if I was off line, or just letting someone pass me on the inside of a turn, the car just plain stuck. As for corner speeds, I was putting distance between cars in the corners... well, until we got to the exit they rolled into the throttle

.
A good friend with a HT supra came out, he had done one school last year and this was his first open lapping day. He was alittle slow in the morning, mostly learning the track/moster car/himself. Later in the day he followed me around the track for a full 30 minute session, afterwards I went out with him for a session and pointed out a few lines and he was showing major improvements. By the last session he was passing me and starting to hang with Bob in the Evo.
My fun was mostly in the corners. I focused on braking later and carrying more speeds into the corners and carrying that through the corner without scrubbing it off. The other part of the corners was letting others pass me there

. We had two of the local race team drivers out there in there personel cars (lotus exige and C5 Z06) practicing some wheel-to-wheel action. I had Dan with me a few times when I was pointing them by on the braking zone of turn two and four or just past the apex of two. I also pointed Chris by in his Camero SS in the braking zone of turn four, but forgot he can't brake as hard or carry as much speed through the turns as I can... let's just say we went through the turn side by side
The Hawk blues did great in the dry coupled with the Z32 rear brakes

. I used the NAPA performance pads for the first session and quickly changed to the blues... they could withstand the heat, but just didn't have enough bite to stop me in time.
For tire temps I ran 37 F/R hot. I adjusted the progress swaybars to the middle setting on both front and rear and didn't touch anything besides a few pressure adjustment to keep the fronts at 37.
As usual the 240 in the pits...
A picture to show how sticky the tires got... the tires resisted chunking and the wear was pretty even across all 4 tires. I will probably only get 3 to 4 track days out of these with the way I'm driving them and a turbo coming soon. Maybe a 245/40/17 might be a possibility for a street tire once I burn through all the three sets that I currently have
The pits, there are two very nice 350Z's down there, to bad I never saw the cars out at the same time I was out there.
The HT supra, a very clean and well taken care of car! With the boost turned all the way down it still puts out about 350whp
