240sx

I am a bit confused! My 94 SE-R just got stollen and was stripped down. Since I proably won't be geeting much money back fromthe insurance..i was thinking of buying a 240 sx, and later doing a swap. What is the best year/model to buy and what was the last model year for the 240sx. I am more interested in the last body style..I don't know what year that was, but it was more sleeker and looked almost like the Skyline. Can a SR20DET fit into that car?

Thanks,

E

The best model to is the 91+. That is because you can retain your power stearing and AC without redoing the lines. The last year they made the S14's was in '98. They 95-98's are all labeled S14's but the 97-98's have the slanted (angry) headlights. The SR20DET fits in all of the 240's since that was the motor that originally came in it. Good luck, and sorry to hear about your car.

I agree. I have an 89 and it's just a little more involved. Stick with a 91 up and have less to worry about.

If somebody would post a picture of boostfactors (I think thats who owns it) sileighty then youll see one more reason why the 91-93 240sx are the best to mod.

That is the best 240sx that I have ever seen.

I am going to print a pic. off in hope that my car will someday be half as good as that one.
