Automatic KA tranny compatible with SR?

Anybody know if I can adapt an SR20det with a KA24e Auto tranny?

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so.

I'm pretty sure the bellhousing has a different bolt pattern, hence the need to put the SR manual in when doing a conversion.

The bellhousing is not the same. At least on the manuals. Have you thought of getting an auto tranny motor setup? I don't see why this would be such a bad idea Can you say S13 convertible with auto/SR20DET

yup

I am doing a swap but can't find a bloody auto sr20det drivetrain...I know of a tranny and a manual motor but i dont think the ECU is compatible

I would love to have an auto(in a conv. ) here in Austin. This would be the daily. But if I only had one car I would choose the manual.
