Sure does. Oh well, the 48RE is actually more reliable (as long as you don't throw too much power at it) than the overpriced Chevy's "Allison" trans, just doesn't have the same number of gears.

I'll probably just do breathing mods. Thing's still under warranty (7 years, 100k Cummins warranty FTW!), and they can see those programmers, especially if you have a failure.

We'll probably get about the same. The 6 spd gets about 1-2 mpg better than the auto, but your 4wd negates that. You hand calculate this? The overhead becomes really inaccurate with the programmers.

You're towing en enclosed trailer right? What size? What kind of towing mileage are you getting?
