The only NA 300hp SR20DE is the BTCC Primera, run-a-few-times-tear-down-race-only motors. Andreas has come close with 200-something without VVL. The SR20VE will get you 200 by itself.
The question is... is 300 an arbitrary number that sounds good to you, or have you been in a 200hp SE-R? Pretty freakin fast.
Hell, my 160hp NA makes me grin all the time. 2400lbs isn't a lot to move.
My advice; commit to NA or turbo beforehand. Everyone on these boards who does NA then goes turbo wonders why they wasted money on NA. I guess I'll see...I got most of the parts, but none of the time.
