A hairdryer is fine to use. Thats actually what I used. BTW the clay bar is great, but its a little bi0tch to take care of. Its like $20 for the "kit", and then they say to "wrap it in plastic wrap." Well I did just that (!!) and my bar ABSORBED the plastic, in essense ruining the bar. BOOM TWENTY DOLLARS GONE! Plastic bag that mofo if you buy one. It works fantastic though.
