OK, the results are..........amazing. The clutch has never felt better. No syptoms of bad pedal feel. We put a new clutch cable in just to be sure. It was still a little "gritty" when you pushed the pedal. Put some washers in by the black gromet. Viola! The car is fun again. I would like to personal thank Charlie in Boynton for your help sir. He has a pretty sweet 98 ser also. I would recommend this trick to anyone who hasn't done it. I went for a long 2 hr drive last night to see if any of the old problems would show it's ugly face and nothing. I'm very happy. Once again, thank all you guys for your help.

Can you describe this method some more? I don't understand exactly where and what you are talking about. (I have just bolted my act clutch kit on my flywheel)

Also, how exactly are you guys welding the arm? Where are you welding it? Wouldn't this prevent it from being removed from the tranny in the future?
