Few tips:
1) Like charlie says, before you start wiring anything run a ECU diagnostic test to make sure everything is in working order. If you do not run one and you get errors after you install you don't know if its from the install or things that were previously messed up.
2) If your going to be using wire taps, which i encourage. On the sensative wiress such as the Orange Air Sensor or MAF wire you should not use the little taps. They do not penetrate the plastic enough to get a good reading and your car may get stuck in LIMP MODE.
3) Also, on the RPM wire, you should not use the taps unless you make it extremly tight. Failure to do this will result in your engine revs being displayed falsly and spiking. If you try tuning with wrong revs being displayed you could be tuning at the wrong RPM points.
Also, it is imparatve that you check...double check and get your mom to check
