I'm guessing Glenn probably didn't want to spin it in the wet.
I was out in it last week, when it was a bit more dry, with Bob (driver and owner) driving it. He was accelerating flat out down the back straight right to the 50 metre sign, where he would *start* to brake - and he was accelerating hard until his braking point! Incredible. (Mere mortals, including me, usually start to brake at the 100 metre sign)
He was hitting 165 on the back straight, and he's faster in the turbo car, of course. Very impressive. You might have had some problems passing him!
We were passing street cars (but they were all Porsches!) left right and centre
Dave didn't make it to that lapping session BTW, only Glenn.
