Diferencial positivo se denomina comunmente a aquellos que tienen "candado" y tienen la capacidad de bloquear una de las ruedas de traccion. Es un termino utililzado sobretodo en autos 4x4. El termino correcto en nuestros autos es el Diferencial de Derrape limitado de acoplamiento viscoso (VLSD por sus siglas en ingles). Tiene la ventaja de repartir la traccion a las dos ruedas delanteras de manera equitativa considerando el agarre que tenga cada una para que el carro no se te vaya chueco. Es un sistema muy caro que pocos autos lo traen, y por supuesto, los nuestros son los unicos 4 cilindros que lo traen. Solo el nuevo Neon SRT-4 y el Sentra SE-R lo traen de serie a la fecha.
