With a turbo car, the JWT nitrous setup is used to spool up the turbo very fast. When drag racing, I brake hard on the line and feather the throttle until just before the car starts to creep. Then I floor the gas and slide my foot off the brake to launch. This produces about 3.5# of boost at 3200rpm off the line.

The nitrous is controlled by the ECU (containing the JWT nitrous add-on board). When the ECU senses that the throttle position sensor is wide open, it starts to spray. When the ECU senses that the MAF is maxed out, it stops spraying. So... all I do is arm the nitrous, purge on the line, and launch. The nitrous takes care of itself.

With street tires, the nitrous is useless since it just spins the tires, the rpm screams to 7000, and the trans shifts.
