Maybe the MAF is not located in the optimum place on the intake track with the HS CAI for the sensor to accurately read the flow. I've always wondered if having the MAF placed elsewhere on the flow stream would be better (a la Andreas maybe on the fender or closer to the TB?). Unfortunately I don't have access to a dyno but I have played with different MAF positions and definitively felt it on the Butt dyno, Nothing you can conclude on thou, but there's a difference for sure.
