I'm a little confused but if I understand you correctly and you're looking to build a turbo VVL motor with better top end than a T25 will provide, why not get the VE motor, install some lower-compression pistons, and then go nuts with the snail? Seems like that would be easier than fitting the VE head on a DET bottom end.
