I am not totally ure what the module you have does.

what are the colors of the wires comming from it?

it might have nothing to do with the power folding mirriors they might have included it cause they did not know the nissan cars do not use them.

on the hondas, and toyotas and a few other im sure they require the module to fold the mirriors then selfs.

sorry i could not be more help but check wire colors and see if they match up, or try to read all the writting on the box and see what it says..
