What if you program the alarm to passively arm? It may not work ***, since most alarms need you to open and close a door before it will set by itself.
Another solution to try is to hook the alarm's ignition input to an accessory lead (position 1 on the key so just the radio comes on), assuming the turbo timer is just hooked up to the ignition (position 2) to keep the car running. This way when you take the key out (assuming the radio turns off but the car stays running) the alarm thinks the car is off and will let you arm it with the remote. Only problem with doing it this way is that the starter kill feature on the alarm may not work properly. What kind of alarm is in there?
