most alarms have an A.W.D.(arm while driving feature) you will have to enable this in your programming feature. It will not only allow you to arm your car while driving but allow you to arm it with the car still running. Just don't try the VRS(vehicle recovery system) this will make the alarm go off once you open the door and shut it again. Its an anti-car-jacking setup. Also it would help when you post if you state your alarm type. I can tell you how to enter programming and adjust with this info. If you don't feel comfortable sharing this info with the masses p.m. me. Serban, you will have to program your shock sensor for a longer window before it sets up, or arms.
