My cage fabricator is telling me he would "prefer" that I remove the front windshield glass when he fabs my cage later (hopefully) this month.
His concern is about damaging or distorting the glass when he welds up the front portion of the halo.
Is this common? I really would prefer to not tackle the job of removing a perfectly good windshield. Ways around this? General opinions?
