if you put your foot lightly on the clutch, does the noise go away instatly? if so, then its probably the release bearing/thrust bearing for the clutch. I had the same issue, then i replace my clutch, 20,000km later i had the noise back again and then it got so bad it sounded like a belt slipping every time i put my foot on the clutch and like the motor was falling out of the engine bay onto the ground.. lol. Release bearing was rooted again. I'd say that's more likley your problem than the input shaft bearing.
