i tend to not trail brake any more.. you WILL spin if you do that.. i brake earlier, lift when understeering mid corner, car will rotate, back on gas..
my setup is almost exactly the same as yours.. i run my AGX 2F, 6-8R depending on type of course... a more open course i'll go down to 6. for a tighter course i'll go up to 8 for more rotation on tight turns..
the car will still understeer to a degree, mostly in mid-corner.. just the nature of this car... not much you can do about directly.
