well, i put my 92 intake cam in my se-r last night. wow. night and day after 5k. pulls hard all the way to redline now. i made the mistake of not "jamming" the chain tensioner ** i took the cam gear off the cam. that was a lot of fun. but, its all good now.
now all i ned is a G20 ecu to make more use of this cam and rev to 7500rpm.
been there, done that, i know exactly what you mean about the tensioner. First time i done my cams, it took me 4 hours, i can now manage a swap in 1 hour, but after 4 times now, my VC bolts are becoming a bit stripped. I think i need to re tap them for when i colour the VC.

I know what you mean. I get pissed every time my rev limiter kicks in and I have to shift before I run out of Cam. I need a 97 SER computer and JWT. plus a million dollars to pay for my dreams.

I just put my G20 ecu in w/ the cam and other mods. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! What a great change for so cheap. I might be selling mine in a month or so though because I am going turbo and I won't need it, seeing as I have my stock ECU still. Get that ECU ASAP it makes a world of a difference. 65 in 2nd gear rocks.
