Well they're not GTiR Cams. They won't work on regular SR20's. They utalize solid lifters.

I would do soem research on the cams before you put them in. They may be stock cams. Like Matt mentioned they will not work for you Classic if they are GTIR cams

I believe http://www.se-r.net has some pretty good write ups on how to install cams.

The worst thing you can do is forget to wedge the chain tensioner.
1.Pull valve cover
2.rotate engine so timming marks r at (roughly) 10 and 2
3.Put paint on the corisponding link and zip tie the chain to the sprocket so it doesnt move
4.STICK A WEDGE DOWN THE FRONT OF THE MOTOR if you look down through the head into the front cover you will see(standing on pass. side)on your left the chain tensioner.Push the tensioner in with a wedge so you get slack in the chain.I use a big enough wedge so you can get it back out. Also i use wood *** there is less damage if you forget to remove it.
5.Now remove the sprockets
6.Remove the distributor(it only goes on one way)
7.Remove cam cap bolts fron inside out
8.Replace rocker arms if they r worn
9.Make sure all rocker arms and centering shims are in place
10.Install the new cams w assambly lube or ample amount of engine oil.
11.Reinstall spockets
12.Remove wood
13.Install dist.
14.valve cover
15.With new cams and rocker arms your supposed to run engine at 2500 for 10 min to seat cams but ive never done this.
16.Check timing
Sorry so vague w/no tools but i do this sh*t everyday and i know my tools location so i just grab and go.
I know their is prob some other good feedback some other poeple could offer!!!!!!!!!!

the wood thing just doesn't work for me. i couldn't get enough slack on the chain, so i just took out the tensioner. i do it the hard way. thats just me.

If I'm not mistaken only the exhaust cam will work from a GTi-R engine to a USDM SR20DE

I'm all but certain that they both work. Why would one cam work and the other not? Actually, some number of years ago, $teallin' sold a product that was for SR20DEs, which, as the legend goes, turned out to be straight-up GTi-R cams. They idle like sh*t in an N/A motor, but they fit, and run, and don't cost too much money. I'm not that ballsy, though. If I did the above swap, I'd want to get at least one adjustable cam sprocket and play with them on a dyno.

I love your bumper, by the way. Have you considered the Tsuru conversion, too? That'd be phat.

Haha thanks man, I dont really want to do the Tsuru lights, I have Sunny lights, they work like the G20's. 2 bulbs in the headlight instead of one, and they are H4 They look very nice and are bright
