KA24DE => sentra ?!?!

OKey so i picked up a base model sentra for 300 dollaz from my friend....was plannin on doing a sr20 swap but then i got a deal on a KA24DE and i heard that sum dood in tacoma has done this swap into his 200sx. anybody seen this done or have info on it or how hard it is?? any advice would be tight...

I would probably go with the ga16 before I did that. You got a deal for a reason. And how much cheaper could it be when you can get the JDM SR20 for $300. Sometimes cheaper.

hmm thanx for you guyses advice... so is there a shop in particular i can get a jdm sr20 from?? and i heard of a couple sr20 swaps into other model sentras but would u guys know how hard it can be?? and is it true that nissan wiring can be a bitch even worse then hondas???

that funny i just traded my 2k1 se in for 2k2 frontier 2x4 i was thinking of swaping out the ka24de for the sr20ve my friend wants me just to beef up the ka24de

Not really. Just make sure you get the engine wiring harness with the engine and the ECU. There are plenty of people who have done this. In the end you might be ahead of the game just buying a SE-R, I think I saw someone selling a really rusty one for $800, you'd have everything you need. Just pay attention and take a lot of pics as you remove everything. Swap it into your car. While you're at it you can do a rear disc conversion, add a rear sway bar, put in the proper gauges . . .

Of course I'm kind of assuming that you have a 91-94 model when I say all this, but the wiring is still pretty simple.
