Ok I was just wondering what other import cars you feel intimidated by all motor. What I mean is all other all motor import cars on the market. For example I honestly am not intimadated by many imports (all motor). I would have to say that the only car I struggle with is the Integra Type R. I remember when racing a GSR or SI was nerve wrecking. What do you guys have to say. I am curious to see how you guys hold it down with other N/A cars modded or in stock form. Also what is a list of cars you have beaten all motor vs all motor?
I have beaten :
- VW VR6's
- GSR's
- SI's
-Probe GT's

The closest a Type R has gotten to me is a 14.5 in the 1/4 mile.
and that was with intake/ header/ exhaust /and cams.
I feel pretty fearless right now.
Im really not intimidated at all unless I see an all gutted Hatch.
Or an intercooler on an SR20.
Then I know Im up for a real good race.

I have some fast cars here. We have a stripped hatch with a stock b16 (no headers/etc) but runs with a open exhaust. His best is a 14.1 @ 97 on azenias, a type r that ran 13.7 on street tires (did not see this one but lots said it happened). ITR has some work to it. Most others are not running that well but we have a lot of fast NA cars with a lot of track time to be decent.
My VW GTI VR6 was faster than My brothers (now mine) SE-R with C2's/AEBS/UR pullies/CourtesyExhaust/PR CAI, From a roll I would pull a couple car lengths especially at higher speeds. But from a stop it was very even. I ended up running .1 faster in teh 1/4 mile....
BTW my GTI had cams, exhaust and a chip. A guy we go to the track with has a Cx hatch with a B18C5 with Toda Cspecs and fully built engine runs 13.2@106 mph :o On street tires. It's pretty wicked.

Not a lot, The VE was only mild, I/H/E plus sr16 cams, slicks, a ecu that was tuned on his car and assorted little things. It didnt even have a CAI. The car was pretty light but not that light compared to a civic hatch. It was having some clutch issues. Before he tore into it for a major up-build (not rebuild ). He thinks he could have run a 12.5 or something like that if the clutch had been replaced.
A friend of mine has a '98 ITR with AEM CAI, JDM header,'01 ITR intake cam, TODA cam gears, and Apex'i PowerFC. He dynoed at 181whp and I'm not sure about torque. He ran a 13.8 @ 100mph like that. His car is not stripped at all.
Well I got smoked on the Highway by my boys GTI VR6.
If I see a newer Z28, GT, T/A, I don't even look in their direction. I now my limits, unitl I drop the 50 shot. I would like to know how I do against a NA GSR or Si. I think that is a good measre of what my car is at. Oh, one more thing, with a bad clutch I lost by a bumper to a 2002 GTI 1.8 turbo, with intake and exhaust.

i wish there were more parts available for the VE, all i have seen is cai, exhaust, (both same as DE), fuji. header, sr16 cams,

I also know that BigTom ran in the 13's with a stock car. I am pretty sure that Joker54c has a VE and is one of BigTom's friends. Don't know for sure. My time is with the seats out but that actually puts my 98 SE at about the same weight as a classic. Mine and Andreas were on street tires the others were on slicks.
