Here is my current setup: 2.5" downpipe into 3" catback sans cat. :redface:

I am thinking about doing something a little different with my exhaust. I am leaning toward making a side exit exhaust. But I am wondering if I should go 2.5" or keep it 3". I know cat-back wise a 3" would flow better. How would the flow of a 2.5" side exit compare to a 3" cat-back? I am only considering 2.5" because it would make for a more quiet exhaust. :tongue:

if you want max power, stick with the 3"

Yep, go 3" if you can. I have 2.5" downpipe to 3" exhaust on my T3/T4 setup, and am going to try my best to fit a 3" downpipe in there.
