Will the turbo hold 10-12psi right to redline or does it drop off like it does with higher boost?

Just curious.

Thanks in advance.

hi jay.. if u boost 10-12 psi it will hold boost all the way.. if u boost 14-15 it will boost that amount till about 5500 rpm's or so then drop to 12 or so ...

Yea I did one in the archives. Just search for "jay hassinger cam install" and you should see it.

I've done so many now that I don't even think about it. I just do it.

I assume you got the springs too right?

You need them with 11.5mm lift.

Let us know how that goes....I'm curious how much "fun" it is to do the springs and what not..........

Kev it's not bad at all. Craig has JUN springs, and Jack has had about three or four different springs in the car. (Don't buy Ferrera springs with JUN 272's 11.5mm lift, trust me!)

Depends on your tools. If you have a fitting that blows air into the spark plug hole it makes it really simple. You just pressurize the cylinder and work away with no worry of droping a valve. :)

Like Jay said the aircompressor is invaluable. Make sure you have a good spring compressor, the one I used I got from sears, it worked but not that great. The most painstaking part is reinstalling the retainers, they want to go everywhere but where you want them. I took my time and it took me 4 hours just to do the springs and retainers.
