Anyone have this break upgrade? How is the install? Where is the best place to get this setup. CourtesyParts.com wants $500 for it. I am in the market for this upgrade and could use some insight. Thanks in advance,

DON'T GET IT FROM COURTESY!! THAT IS THE BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!!
Go to a auto parts chain store and tell them you need brakes for a 91-93 NX2000, you will save $200 easy on the total price. You can also turn in your old calipers for a core return fee. Slightly dishonest, since you don't have a NX, but chances are the guy won't know and won't care.

What's the torque member bracket? I have a friend at an auto parts store that can get me a good price on the calipers, but I want to know what that bracket is so I can get it from Nissan if possible. Does anyone know how much the slotted rotors are at SMC?

the torque bracket is circled, the other hunk of metal is the actual caliper.

not a ripoff, just oem parts, not that they are any better than anything else.

OOOH, I knew that.:D So it's just the piece that the caliper sits on. So can I get this at the dealer by itself? I'm thinking of doing this within the next month.

Ray K. ordered the NX brakes for his 98 SE from Courtesy, I think he paid a ridiculous price like $590 or something....sounds like a ripoff to me Brian....

like I said they are original parts, not auto zone or whatever you want to put on your car, some people would rather have that. personally I would not pay it, I would put some auto zone ones on myself (If I did not get parts @ cost) and be done, it would only be a ripoff if they were actually marked up ALOT, like some aftermarket companies do. these have the same markup as any other part.... but I can see where you are coming from though, not trying to start a flame war of who is getting ripped off where
