Anyone else notice that their headlights just aren't that bright? (Hummmm come to think of it I'm not that bright either... anyways).....
I hate the ricer blue bulbs - but is there an "upgrade" bulb I can buy for my headlights to help them out a little bit - its almost like driving with only the marker lights on lol...
Suggestions/comments/what are you using?
Thanks
Chris

i got some xenon ones from a local car shop....25 bucks, and they arent really really blue, only a slight tint of blue. theyd never be mistaken for a honduh, anyway. :) they are much brighter and i notice a difference. i have tried other bulbs and never had this much luck. hope this helps. by the way, never been pulled for them, and it happens alot where im from (Richmond, Va)
i have tryed brighter blubs but they just melt my plugs and wires  becouse they draw to much power. i rememeber reading some were (i think it was se-r.net ?) how to rewire the lights so you could put more powerfull bulbs in. but that was a long time ago.

You dont want to get anything more then a 65 watt bulb. Anything higher then that does seem to draw too much power from the car and it can possibly result in a blown bulb or melted wiring or both.

Know of any bulbs that emit pure white? With no tint of blue?
That'd be nice. :)

Piaa superwhites are what I have. Expensive but look nice and bright. Try www.groupbuycenter.com as I think someone was selling them for a good price.

I had the Piia as well in my old SE-R they made quite a differevce and held up well. However a lot of people have had problems with them burning out early. Try this site www.autobulbdepot.comI also saw a test of these bulbs and I remember they are brighter but only because the beam is more controlled and Piia used a weird method of recording light output. The over all results showed the Piia are not worth the money and Phillips would work just as well for much less. You are paying more for the name..02
