Just like the title says.

I have an engine that i got from an importer (SOKO) and it is consistently compression testing at 205 psi. It did not have a red vlave cover.
Normal SR's should be about 178 psi.
Any way I can find out for sure? I no longer have any of the JDM manifolds or anything like that.
I am not complaining, just trying to find out more.

Is this a 10:1 or not???
thanks

shine a flashlight down the spark plug tube. if you see the piston as totally flat, then you have a 10:1. if you see shadows from a slight dish, then it's 9:5:1.

or you can just pull the head and know for certain :)
