Ok Calum had an idea. How about a Southeastern meet for everyone next spring. Only problem is what Im wanting to do is sorta bad timing. Im figureing a few people here east of the Mississippi may not be going to the convention this year. Well it was asked if I would want to go to an event in march. March 15-17 the SCCA ProRally is here in TN. So Im probaly goign to go and watch at the very least.

But I think it would be cool to maybe put together a mini meet for people not going to the convention since this will be the weekend after the convention. I dont think I will be going since i would have to fly out and rent a car. not really worth it...well it would be but i cant afford it. So im thinking go get a hotel maybe in chatt and watch some dirt racing. If there is some interest i'll work on trying to make it a little more orgininzed.

I'm down for any south eastern meet. So far, I have never met another sr20 enthsiast. Heh. Let me know if I can help.

Im in Upper East TN, the tri-cities. Within spitting distance of Bristol Motor Speedway. I need to check to see when the drag strip opens up for the start of the season. If nothing else thats something to do for all the dragnuts.

But Im going to this race and seeing if anyone else would want to go watch as well. Just a little meet and greet. Just letting everyone know there is stuff going on here in the south.

Ive thought about a SE meet many times but havent got any replies. I cant offer anything cool like the dyno Eric can....wait I just remembered a friend just bought a dyno for his shop....hmmm going to have to think about that one. Ill get back on that one.

NC would be great for us. but hey I am down for compromise. I just think all of us need to get together and share some help and tips to each other and generally get a few adult beverages down the hatch and bond.

i mite not be doing much wrenching ***, *** i'm a college freshman, just got the car in august, no cash laying around, don't know much about performance, only cosmetic, and my car is almost bone stock. so basically, i'm way new to the game....but very willing to drive and meet others...

I'm down for having a meet in the southeast, i'm about 2 hours from from just about anywhere. A 2-4 hour drive is nothing for me,
just let me know when and where.

Well Im goign to this race, and if anyone wants to meet up there by all means lets do it. we are talking about a meet in the east froum as well. I volenteer to host it, probaly, since im about 2 hours drive from just about everyone thats speaking up. I need to find out info on the dyno my friend's girlfriend's uncle just got and see if we possibly could do something with it :D. Want to wait till the spring till the track opens up for people that like to drag race, but may be a pain since its friday night grudge matches and i know greg has a long drive if he wants to come. Probaly get some of the regulars like Ben or Eric to show up since they like to show up for everything. Hell if anyone gets bored and just want to spend the weekend in the tri cities anytime just let me know ive got a big house thats empty right now. just be prepaired to sleep on the floor, i am.

But im hopeing to go down to chatt, get a hotel room for the weekend(some dive of a place probaly) watch some dirt racing and then come home.

Heh, I would definately say you are in the S/SE region. Maybe you can suggest a place to meet up. Everyone seems reasonably flexible, just can't find a place to go.

JGY its up to you I guess :D. you are about like me and shit out of luck in the wrong place. Too far of a drive to do stuff on the eastern side of VA or NC and too far to for the stuff to do in FL or GA.

But as it is right now I am not going this saturday and that isnt going to happen at all as far as i know. I just got/getting a job and not going to be able to get down to chatt. wish i could, but also dad couldnt get off and calum pretty much too busy. so oh well maybe later.

Steve (you might remember him from last year, he's a slender black guy from NY and drove a '93.5 silver G20, he rode roller blades at the track) is coming to my house today for a vacation for the whole weekend, he's bringing his G20

and my buddy Scott with the turbo'd 240sx is bringing his motor to the garage this weekend too. He had it bored out and is building it up sort of like I did my G20 motor.

My turbo for the G20 (dual ball t3/t04e) might be in by this weekend too.
